Arthrodesis of Finger Interphalangeal Joints
Position
- In hand require ↑ flexion as moving from radial to ulna digits
- 15 - 20° in index up to 40° in little finger
Surgical Technique
- Excise elipse of skin over dorsum of joint if associated with FFD
- Stabilsie joint with 'K' wires for 4 - 6 weeks post operatively
