- Rhizomelic short limbed dwarfism syndrome secondary to defective endochrondral ossification
- Commonest form of disproportionate dwarfism
History
- First coined in 1878 by Parrot to distinguish between achondroplastics & rachitic patients with proportionate dwarfism
